Foremost Names New Land VP

Michael L. Canfield joins Foremost Communities as the new senior vice president of land acquisitions. Canfield will be responsible for identifying development properties in Southern California markets, as well as coordinating acquisition strategies with the company's investment partner, a controlled affiliate of Starwood Capital Group. Additional tasks include negotiating and underwriting acquisitions and handling transactions through the close of escrow. Previously, Canfield worked for SunCal Companies.
